Best Western Airport Plaza Inn Hotel – Los Angeles LAX

The room was nice, it looked modern and clean. It had blackout curtains which were nice and kept the room dark at night. But the air conditioner is super loud and annoying we had to turn it off because it was so loud at night. There was a tapping noise outside too most of the night like water dripping. Other than that the breakfast was good, and overall it was okay.

I stayed here for one night after my flight was unexpectedly canceled. It's reasonably priced and overall a decent hotel. I appreciated the continental breakfast which is included. The room was clean and modern. Road noise gets loud once the commute hour begins, but that could be fixed with earplugs. There are some nice walkable conveniences like a Starbucks (next door), Chik-fil-A, Ralphs grocery, and CVS. I didn't have a car and didn't feel comfortable venturing outside the immediate area at night, but it was fine during the day. The front staff were very nice. I accidentally left my phone charger in the room when I checked-out and they held it at the front desk for me.

The manager is amazing , the staff is incredible, everyone accommodated my stay and special night with my husband ! They all were super helpful speedy on anything I needed ! Very hospitable!!! Absolutely loved our stay and all the amenities and staff the area so so convenient and clean and staff . I highly recommend this place and most definitely will book and stay again ! No consistency in the rooms. I stayed in 4 different rooms with a 14 day period. All 4 rooms were different. Aircon was noisy in 1 of the rooms. No laundry.....boo. Excellent breakfast. Friendly Staff. Fair bit of wear and tear and it is beginning to tell. Plumbing was confusing.....hot and cold faucet. Near many fast food joints. Felt safe though

The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. $10 covered parking. If you check in late make sure you call to let them know so they don’t cancel your reservation. I think the front desk is open 24/7 though. Nice selection of free breakfast. The only negative was our room was non smoking (not sure if some rooms have smoking options there), but it definitely did faintly smell like smoke when we walked in. 5 stars because it seemed like a good value compared to some of the other hotels close to LAX.

We enjoyed this hotel. It's a bit older, but clean and the staff is fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast and the location was great for where we needed to be. Affordable compared to so many other places around. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Also, when a late night party broke out next door that was way too loud, the staff intervened. Only suggestion for the hotel is placing some kind of air fresheners in the rooms because there is a stuffy smell that is obvious when entering from the airy outside. This is what we'd consider a budget hotel. It's in a working-class neighborhood, and could use a little refreshing. Pros - The bed was very comfy and we slept really well. The tub was sparkling clean and everything else seemed clean as well. The front desk clerks were very nice and helpful. Most fixtures in the room seemed fairly new and/or in good repair. The breakfast and coffee exceeded our expectations. Cons - We had a king room facing the road, so a bit of traffic noise (the white noise app on our phone worked well to block that out).The carpet needs to be replaced and the bathroom vanity is dated. The bedding is very thin, and we could've used an extra blanket. One suggestion - next time the beds get replaced, opt for a design without the protruding frame at the bottom of the bed. We kept banging into it with our shins.

This is a well run motel in most respects. The rooms are clean and everything worked. The location is good. My only complaint is the breakfast. Besides only serving junk food, they leave the TV going with loud propaganda blaring. The staff said they were instructed to not turn it off. I just left without having breakfast.
